Only one more sleep until we get to feast our eyes on the glamorous red carpet fashion at the 84th annual Academy Awards ! But, in the meantime, take a lookie-loo at the Want gowns that we’d pair with some of Hollywood’s leading ladies!

1. The Tadashi Shoji sheer panel gown: We definitely see this look on Best Actress nominee, Rooney Mara. Her press tour for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was full of exquisite minimalistic looks, avant garde silhouettes, and on-trend cut out panels. This gown is a perfect fit, it’s beautiful, yet extremely unique, just like Ms. Mara. Available at our Avenue Road, Richmond Hill and Oakville Boutiques.

2. We don’t call this the “Red Carpet Gown” for nothing! We see this va-va-voom dress by designer, Dina Bar-el, on the gorgeous Best Supporting Actress Nominee, Jessica Chastain. She tends toward classic sophistication, but we saw her in a (very) plunging neckline at TIFF this past year, and, quite frankly, we liked it!! Available in purple at our Richmond Hill Boutique.

3. The La Femme Daria Sequin Open Back Gown: Perfect for Mr. George Clooney’s main squeeze, the statuesque Stacy Keibler. Sexy, eye-catching and well… she would definitely coordinate with his Oscar statue! But really, why would he want one of those if he has a real life, golden beauty by his side all night anyways? 4. We’ve seen this Tadashi Shoji gown on Best Supporting Actress nominee, Octavia Spencer before, and it’s clear that she’s smitten with this designer! Octavia’s been seen wearing his creations to the Golden Globes, The SAG awards, The 2012 BAFTA Awards, the NAACP Image Awards AND The Writers Guild Awards… so we think that it’s a pretty safe bet to assume that she’ll be wearing Tadashi Shoji to the Oscars. 5. We see this slinky, subtle gown on Angelina Jolie. She isn’t much of a fashion risk-taker, although she ALWAYS takes our breath away. That’s why this one shoulder JS Group sprinkle beading dress would be perfect for Ms. Jolie. It’s classic, sexy and not too flashy, afterall… she will be attending as a guest, not a nominee, and it wouldn’t be fair to outshine her hubby on the red carpet! 6. The JS Group Emmy Gown: Perfect for Best Actress nominee Viola Davis. She loves to wear bright colours on the red carpet and looks sensational in 1 shoulder (or strapless) gowns! The gathering at the hip helps to give a sexy, curvy silhouette and the flowing train is fun and whimsical. The only thing missing, is a hiiiiigh slit for her to show off those gorgeous legs! 7. Last but not least… the cinema-darling, Michelle Williams. At times, she is quite the trendy, fashion-forward risk-taker, and at other times, she can be simple and classic. That’s why we think that this JS Group strapless shirred mesh flowered Gown would be good because it combines a little of both worlds. A classic sweetheart neckline with ruching through the body, but, the skirt is sheer (very on trend) and textural, giving it a playful, quirky side.
